Parisienne Makeup Menu

It has been almost 7 months since I visited Paris, and only now I'm getting around to creating the content regarding my trip. I know, shame on me, but my mind simply wasn't in the right place and I would rather create good content about the city that is so dear to my heart.

Today I will finally bring you my Paris Makeup Menu, which basically has a little guide on how to achieve the makeup I wore while visiting the city. I tried to inspire myself on the french classic makeup and went for a red lip and a bold eyeliner most days. This was something so out of my normal makeup routine but at the same time something that felt in some way familiar to my face.

There is nothing that the true Parisienne values more than skincare. French Pharmacy brands are known worldwide for their formulas and ingredients, so, in order to achieve the french beauty look, I took special attention to my skin prep, using the french classic Embryolise as a hydrating primer. I skipped foundation most days and used a minimal amount of concealer. To bring a little colour to my face I used my beloved Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in the shade dark chocolate. I skipped blush and highlighter as well, letting my skin breathe so much more than what I normally would on a trip.

The Urban Decay Born To Run Eyeshadow Pallet is a travel essential in my makeup bag. Firstly it has a gigantic makeup mirror, which is great because we never know what mirrors we will have available when traveling. At the same time, it has any colour you may need to create any kind of look. This is probably my favourite all-round eyeshadow pallet (and believe me I own way too many).
For this makeup look, however, I kept it rather simple. I used the shade Weekender all over my lid and then Riff on my crease. To give it a little shine I used the shade Blaze on my lid. This combination was simple and created the perfect simple and easy to achieve eye makeup look.
To give it the french twist I added a winged eye-liner (fun fact: when I was in middle school I wouldn't leave the house without a winged liner, now I don't even think I can do a decent one anymore). I 100% prefer felt tip eyeliners and the one I choose for this look was the Lottie London Stamp Liner, the tip of the pen is very precise and allows us to create the perfect eyeliner look.

The last essential in my Paris makeup bag was a bold red lipstick with a blue undertone. I picked a Ted Baker lipstick that was part of their Elegant Lip Set. The formula is out of this world, they created a creamy lipstick that stays on your lips for a long time and doesn't get everywhere, at the same time the cobalt blue and rose gold package bring a sense of luxury when using the product, something that fits with the Parisian vibe perfectly.

Et voilà, this was the final look. A simple and fresh makeup look with two statement features.
As I said before this type of look is quite different from what I usually do, but I felt so good while wearing it. By the end of my trip, I didn't recognize myself without red lipstick on, maybe it's my inner Parisienne that was living her best life while in the city I love the most, maybe it was just good to step out of my regular makeup routine and switch things around.

I truly hope you enjoyed this blog post, as much as I enjoyed sitting here writing it. Blogging is one of the things that brings me the most joy in life and being able to share it with you guys truly means the world.

My Skincare Routine (part II)

On my last post, I shared all the products that I've been using on my everyday morning and night routine to take care of my skin, today I am gonna share three products that I don't wear on a daily bases but that have become an essential part of my skincare routine.

Bioderma Sébium Night Peel Smoothing Concentrate: Something I have always delt with is acne scarring. That is mainly because I can't keep my hands off my face. It's a terrible discussing habit, yet, I do it (pretty much the same with biting my nails, I know it's bad but I can't stop).
When I had a skin diagnosis at Wells (a Portuguese drugstore, where they offer free services such as skin diagnosis and express makeup or facials) the lady recommended this product to help my acne scars to fade.
This product is meant to wear every night for four weeks and to have a monthly break between cycles of use.
The product helps to smooth the bumps and marks on my skin. It is quite an aggressive product to the skin so you need to be careful to wash your skin with a cleanser every morning after usage, to wear an SPF every day and to moisturize well, once this is quite a drying product.
However, I would really recommend it. My skin is looking better than ever since doing one cycle of the treatment (I am aiming to do no more than 5 cycles per year with 2 months of rest between them). If you have a lot of acne scars and marks on your skin this is for sure a product to consider buying especially since it's quite an affordable choice from the french pharmacy brand.

Uriage Hyséac SOS Paste: This product is a life savior. I got it at the same time I got all my other french pharmacy bits. This is a paste meant to help dry out blemishes when they appear on the skin. It works really well in active acne and it drys up my blemishes overnight, which helps a lot in combating my bad habit of squeezing my zits.
This is probably the most affordable product out of my whole routine which is good because a little tub lasts a long time.
I normally apply it on my skin after moisturizing at night. I never put my finger inside the product, instead, I use a spatula to take a little bit of it out and then I apply it on top of my zit. When I wake up the next day, is like it never existed.

Kiehls's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque: Face masks became a huge thing in skincare a few years ago, due to the Korean skincare routine boom. I have been trying not to use a lot of sheet masks because they are terrible for the environment regardless of how good they feel.
This Kiehl's mask is one of my favorites. It helps me balance the oily production of my skin and consequently the number of breakouts that I have. I would say this mask will work better in combination to oily skin.
The brand says it can be used once or twice a week but honestly I only use it once. I let it dry for 10 minutes before cleaning it off with tepid water.
I truly believe doing a face mask once a week can change your routine completely and I would really recommend you giving it a try if you don't have a step like this one on your routine.

And this is it, guys! The full list of all my lotions and potions I've been using on my skin for the past few months. I would recommend you give a read to part one of this in which I shared my everyday skincare regime!

My Skincare Routine (part 1)

February is here and with it here I am to commit to a blogging schedule. We will have new posts every Monday and Friday, and a lot more content coming your way. January was a hard month, a lot of stuff happening and I needed to take a step back in order to reorganize and reset myself. Today I kick start the month with an updated skincare routine. I will share all the products I've been wearing since November and give you all my unfiltered thoughts and opinions on them.

Skincare has always been a sensitive topic for me. For years I failed to give it the right importance, focusing all my energy (and money) on makeup. However, as I've grown older, and hopefully wiser I've come to realize that skincare is the base of any good makeup, that the canvas can actually make the painting.
Thankfully I never had awful habits like sleeping with my makeup on or not moisturizing because I had blemishes, but I don't drink enough water and for years I've struggled with understanding my skin (as you can see on the post I did on my experience with dermatologists). Nowadays I know I have combination skin and I seek to use French Pharmacy products in my routine, they normally have a good quality/price relationship and work better than most drugstore products I've tested (this doesn't mean I have abolished drugstore products in any way, there are great affordable options out there and I don't mind using them and testing, but so far this routine has worked perfectly for me.).

The steps I do are similar morning and night. If I am wearing makeup I always remove it with either an oil or a micellar water (my favorite one being the Garnier one).
After that, I use my Clarisonic Mia Fit and the The Body Shop Tea Tree Clearing Facial Wash, I've found these products to work perfectly together! My skin feels cleansed and oil-free after using this cleanser and the Clarisonic is an amazing tool that has changed my routine completely. I tend to use it more at night time, once I'm normally rushing in the morning and I feel that doing the process morning and night might be a bit too aggressive on my skin. I honestly think a skincare cleansing brush is a great tool to add to your routine, especially if you wear makeup. It removes all the dirt and every bit of pollution from my skin and I feel like my skin is cleaner than ever before.
I also have been making an effort to use either cold (in the morning) or tepid water on my skin. I think that I made the mistake to use super hot water on it and it was damaging my skin barrier.

After cleansing, I use a tonner. The Nuxe Aquabella has been my choice. I used to apply my toner with a cotton pad but, as of lately, in my efforts to reduce the waste I produce I have been applying this product with my hands. This way I have actually ensured that the product lasts way longer once it's applied directly to the skin. A tonner is important in your skincare routine because it will help balance your skin pH level, sometimes modified by tap water. It also has an important role when it comes to the appearance of your pores and it also helps to even out your skin tone.

Moisturization is an essential part of any skincare routine (yes, oily skin people, of yours too). Honestly, combination skin can be a total bitch, your skin will be oily AF in some parts and dry in others if you use a gel type of moisturizer you will have dry patches if you apply a thick cream you will look oily. It's hard to find a moisturizer that gets it right. I can proudly say that I finally have found something that truly works for me (and that I'm in the second bottle of already). I am talking about the Jowaé Moisturizing Light Cream, a fluid, and very refreshing product that moisturizes my skin and leaves it feeling like a baby. This is probably the product that I've felt made the biggest difference. I don't think I will need to search more for moisturizers, I use it morning and night and it truly works wonders. I also find it to be very shooting to my skin after wearing makeup the whole day, removing it, exfoliating, etc. this product always helps my skin feel fresh and, overall, good

The last couple of products that are part of my everyday regime are two products that target special areas of our faces, areas where the skin is a little bit different than the rest of our faces, the eyes and the lips.

The skin under our eyes is extremely thin and sensitive, it makes sense that we should wear a different product to hydrate that part of our faces. I have tried many eye creams, and even though I don't find them to be essential in my routine (ask me again in 5 years when I start having wrinkles and maybe I will have changed my mind), I feel way better when I used them. I normally use my face roller under my eyes before applying the eye cream and I find the combination of both products to work perfectly in the morning when I'm trying to look alive and awake.
The eye cream I've been wearing is the Garnier Organic Anti-age Eye cream (because it's never too soon to prevent aging marks under our eyes). I love this product, it has a nice soft smell, it's hydrating and I feel it does the job of keeping my under eye area hydrated. This is also a step I value because I normally go heavy when it comes to concealer and crazy eyeshadow under my eyes, feeling that I'm taking the time and extra effort to do a step focusing on preserving that area as become quite important to me.

When it comes to the lips, I swear that the Alex Steinherr x Primark Sleep Spa Overnight Lip Mask is the best lip balm I have ever tried.
If you have been reading the blog for a while you know I love the Primark collaborative range with the beauty editor but this lip mask is where it's at for me.
As someone who as always dealt with super dry patchy lips, I am proud to say that I have tested most of the options available in the market when it comes to dry lips and this one takes home the prize for me. I apply a very generous amount before bed every night, I keep it in my purse during the day and I sometimes even use it instead of lipstick due to its natural pink colour.
I am so thankful for having found this product, my lips are so dry (mostly because of the water intake problem I've mentioned in the first sentence) that I found myself bleeding from the cracks and sometimes it was painful to even smile. A good lip balm has always been essential to me and to find one so affordable that works this well is truly groundbreaking for me. So I have to thank the makers for this product and beg them to never discontinue it!

I hope you enjoyed this post, I was originally supposed to write in all the extra products I wore but after doing a little Instagram poll you said you would rather have the post dived in two.
Next Monday part 2 will be up!

Project Pan: Helping the Environment & My Wallet

Without realizing I started a little project pan when it comes to my beauty stash. I have way too many things and I feel super excited to get new ones to try. Around summertime, I made the decision to only buy a product when another one of the same categories was over. For example, I would only buy a new concealer or foundation when I ran out of the one I was currently using.

This all started the moment I decided I wanted to share my empty products with my audience, in order to give them a more complete review of the products that were part of my stash and also to update you on the things I share both here and on Instagram. I decided to start collecting all the products I was using up in a bag and once I had 10 different products I would do a series of little reviews on Insta Stories.
The response was absolutely amazing. I got DM's talking about how helpful and interesting this series was, how cool it was to see my opinion after using a full bottle of a product and how it made me much more reliable when it came to my reviews, you could see that I really did use things up and that I wasn't just buying them for the sake of showing them on the blog (something that I have been guilty of doing in the past).

Project Pan became a full-on mission. I wanted to empty as many products as I possibly could so that I had some cool stuff to share with you. I started wearing the same makeup products on a daily bases (lipstick included, shooking, I know), the same skincare and hair care products. I stopped buying beauty stuff because of a sale and I started being really conscious about the things I allowed into my life.

For example, I've been wanting to get a new concealer for a while, either the Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer (one I've used in the past and truly love) or the Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Concealer (one that has been on my wishlist of the longest time), however, during the H&M beauty sale I got their Concealer Stick and now I am refusing to buy one I truly want until I finish the H&M one, (even though  I am really enjoying this one as well). I know I saved myself some great money while doing this because I don't buy makeup impulsively as often anymore. I still enjoy to get a few new things to try out once in a while, but I don't go crazy. I make a wishlist, if I have some extra cash I don't waste it in another lipstick that is a variation of a nude (like all the other ones I own) or in another eyeshadow pallet with which I will create a look and never use it again.

Consequently, I became more and more aware of how wasteful the beauty industry actually is. I mean, look at your shower, if you have the most simple routine using only shampoo and shower gel you have two plastic bottles that you buy at least every two months. I personally, don't know anyone who uses only two products on their daily routines. I use shampoo, conditioner, a hair mask, shower gel, shaving cream, razors, toothbrush, toothpaste, body moisturizer, body scrub, face wash, face scrub, etc. If all those products come in a plastic container and I am buying some of them every two months, if not more often, the amount of plastic that it is going to waste is immense.

I am not saying I should reduce the number of steps I do, my routine is a form of self-care, it makes me feel relaxed and good about myself and I don't want to simplify it to the point it doesn't feel that way anymore. However, tracking my beauty trash in my empties really allowed me to see what products I go trough faster, which ones I buy the most and which ones I could find more sustainable alternatives too. I currently use a bar of soap instead of shower gel, a bar of shampoo instead of a bottle of shampoo and a bamboo toothbrush. These were the first changes I made, but there are a lot of things I still want to improve when it comes to my beauty waste, I want to have a routine that feels sustainable, that includes getting rid of plastic, buying less, making smarter choices, investing in bigger bottles of products, and so on.

I am happy with the way I am dealing with my beauty waste, how I am decluttering my collection, how I am consuming less and using things up, even if are things that have been around the house untouched for months. It helped me shop my stash and falling in love with beauty again. Also, it made beauty shopping something way more enjoyable because now, I don't do it as often and on the occasions that I do I invest in things that I love with all my heart, things I have been meaning to get for months and that bring joy to me every time I wear them.

The Autumnal Favorites

October marks the beginning of Autumn, the days are getting shorter, and colder, the leaves are falling and with that, a change in the beauty stash is needed. When the colder months come, I like to create heavier looks when compared to the summer, use warmer shades on my lids, bolder dark lipstick colours (something I am missing from the edit to be fair), less shine and more coverage and A LOT of bronzer to keep me from looking like the vampire pale shade I am about to become.

I've made a few updates to the makeup bag and today I am going to share the 5 products I have been using the most lately.

Gloss Bomb in Diamond Milk (Fenty Beauty - 18.90€): Fenty Gloss Bombs were the products that introduced lipglosses back into my life. After years of being on the matte lips and nothing else trend it felt amazing when I got the Fenty Glow shade, it quickly became part of my everyday makeup and for the season I decided it was time to get my hands on their clear gloss version. Diamond Milk is a beautiful cool tone clear gloss. The formula is amazing, it doesn't stick and it's a very hydrating product. The perfect combination to add to a heavy eye makeup look, this product will give a lighter and fresher touch to your makeup.

Velvet Matte Lipstick in 01 Donuts Go Nut (Essence - 2.89€): I sort of rediscovered Essence makeup this past few months. This is a more affordable brand that is all I used to use in middle school than I got a bit more money (or I started spending it smarter along the way) I started investing in more expensive makeup products and parted way with drugstore brands. This lipstick has been all I've been wearing, is the perfect nude tone for me, the formula is amazing, it lasts quite well on the lips and it is a matte formula without being super drying. I love wearing it on its own or with the Fenty Gloss Bomb on top.

Lash Princess Volume Mascara (Essence - 4.19€): Keeping it on the Essence rail I had heard everyone and their mother talk about this mascara, but being that I hadn't really loved mascaras from Essence in the past it took me years to give it a try. This is probably the best affordable mascara I have ever tried. It has been my go-to and it will keep its status. It gives me full voluminous lashes without making them glue together. I truly feel like a doll when I use this mascara and for the bold eyeshadow looks I like to do in the fall time, this is the perfect addition.

Modern Renaissance Pallet (Anastacia Beverly Hills - 55€): I have heard amazing things about ABH shadows since their firs pallet came along. This was number one at my wishlist since it came out in 2017 (if I am not mistaken). Autumn is the perfect season to wear the browns, reds, pinks on the eyes, winey warm tones, the shades of the leaves that are falling on the outside. I have been obsessed with this pallet and I truly think this is the perfect addition to any makeup bag for the season. It is also very versatile because it has many neutral and nude shades that make the purchase worth it even if you don't own many eyeshadow pallets.

Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea (Mario Badescu - 9.90€): Once my Lavender spray was over I was converted to Mario Badescu Products. For the winter months, and because I have been dealing with breakouts a lot more, I decided to get the Green Tea one. So far I love it. This product is truly an amazing addition at an affordable price. It works as skincare, as a refresher and as a setting spray. A versatile product that really is an essential to me, and I am truly glad that the brand is now available in Portugal.

These are the products I picked for my Autumnal beauty edit, the products I've gotten recently and that quickly made it to the favorites! I truly recommend them and I am quite happy with the selection that I have presented you with. I think it's good to recommend both higher hand and hight street products in these edits too so that more people can try the recommendations I am giving!

My Top 5 Makeup Brushes

I've been procrastinating washing my makeup brushes the whole Summer (shame on me) but with my return to Lisbon eminent, I had to get my shit together and give my makeup brushes a good bath. It got me thinking about how many brushes I owned and if I was to lose all of them which ones would I repurchase first, which were my essentials and why I loved them! That is where the idea for this post was born, I decided to share with you the makeup brushes that I find essential to create almost any makeup look, from face to eyes.
Let's face it, the tools that we use to apply our makeup are as important (or even more) than the makeup we use. I truly believe that we should invest in good quality tools, they can literally last a life timed if you take good care of them, however, I don't think we need to buy the most expensive option on the market, nowadays there are many drugstore brands that have great quality brushes at an affordable price, there are literally no excuses to own bad quality tools because that only means that you won't be able to take full advantage of the products that you already own.

Zoeva 106 Powder Brush: I've owned my Zoeva Brushes for 5 years, most of them are still in amazing shape and I wear them on the daily to create my makeup looks. Their Powder Brush is absolutely amazing, it is light and it doesn't pack powder on your skin, preventing the cakey look that most times is associated with the use of powder. I also like to use this brush at the end of my makeup if I applied a bit too much bronzer or blusher to blend everything together and give my makeup a much more natural look.

Real Techniques Blush Brush: Real Techniques started selling in physical stores in Portugal this year, and even though I had tried their brushes in the past I didn't own many and I used a 25% off promotion to get a couple more. One of them was their blush brush, I wasn't 100% convinced by its shape, it was so different from all the angle blush brushes that I already owned and I really didn't know if the shape would work for me but I tried it and I am in love. This brush is an all in one product, I can use it to apply bronzer, blush or even powder. If I lost all my brushes this one would be one to get ASAP due to its diversity. Also, I've had some Real Techniques Brushes that I've owned for more than 6 years and that still are in really great shape.

Real Techniques Setting Brush: This is the other brush that I've got this year that made it to the favourites. I had only used fan brushes to apply my highlighter before this one came along, now I don't care for fan brushes anymore. This is the best brush out there when it comes to highlighter! Another cool thing about this brush is that you can also use it to bake under your eyes with some loose powder or to do little powder touch-ups.

Zoeva 227 Soft Definer vegan: When it comes to the most essential eye makeup brush in my collection this one is it. I think that a good crease brush is the number one essential when it comes to eye makeup brushes. the other things eyeshadow wise you can normally due using your fingers, but to smoke a look or to blend everything together a crease brush is essential. For that reason, I own multiple crease brushes but this Zoeva one is for sure my number one favourite.

Zoeva 226 Smudger: Experimenting with my lower lash line was one of the last things I started doing when I learned makeup because it was daunting, I felt like I could literally ruin my look just by adding colour to the lower lashes. Nowadays, it has become essential when it comes to creating eyeshadow looks, I feel like it frames my eyes and it makes everything look a lot more cohesive when it comes to the full face of makeup. What helped me learn how to do this was the Zoeva Smudger Brush, it is a really dense brush that makes the lower lash detailed application really easy. I really love this brush and I would recommend this one to anyone who is wanting to experience more with eyeshadow and bring your looks to the next level.

And these are the 5 brushes I find to be the most essential, I didn't include a foundation brush because my favourite form of application is for sure a Beauty Sponge. For me, a Beauty Sponge is the number one essential when it comes to makeup tools, but that is a post for another day. I can assure you that the brushes I recommended here are great quality, very versatile and affordable, for me, they check all the boxes and totally help my makeup looks to look a lot better and more professional.

My Thoughts on the Hair Accessories Trend

I almost never do hair posts, or hairstyles or anything hair related because I was never able to do hairstyles, I actually learned how to do a ponytail when I was 13 and I can't braid my hair to save my life. I've always approached my hair in a way to keep it healthy and brushed, maybe up in a bun, but nothing more than that.
Having hair accessories become such a huge trend in 2019 I wanted to give an opportunity to the trend, especially because accessories can really take a look to the next level. For the first time, I saw a bit of hope into making my hair looks a bit more interesting than a ponytail, a trend that will make me able to actually style my hair.

The first hair accessory that I tried I had bought last year without even realizing that it could be a hair accessory, was a tissue scarf from Parfois. I got it to tie around my neck or to my purse but then I saw a lot of people on Instagram using it around their ponytails and their buns and I decided to give it a try. I felt so good, maybe because my hairstyles are always so basic or maybe because it makes me feel like the Parisian women I've always aspired to be. The truth is, that kind of accessory became a staple in my closet. This one is extra easy to style once you most likely already own and it's a great first step when it comes to getting into this trend.

After that experience I was obsessed and I wanted more. I got a few sets of bobby pins with a special touch. These are another easy pick when it comes to simple hairstyles, there are many looks you can create using bobby pins but if they have a little special something about them they will bring your hairstyle to another level. That is basically what this trend is all about for me, pretending that I have tried really hard to look good when actually it was a simple effortless choice.

If you are anything like me and all you know how to do is to tie your hair, scrunchies are something that you need to add to your collection this season. They will keep your hair away from your face (something I find one hundred per cent necessary) and give a special touch to your look. You can also own as many as you like and have one to match each of your looks. They are a useful purchase, they look way better on your wrist than a regular hairband and will make it look like you very stylish and put together. I love the simplicity of them, I love that they work with my hair up and with my hair down and I love that I can have as many as I want to match every outfit (yes, maybe I'm a bit obsessed).

The last accessory I want to talk about are hair clips. This is probably my favourite piece when it comes to this trend, maybe because it's the easiest one to style, maybe because it totally brings my look up to a whole new level, what I know for sure is that even when this type of accessories are not trendy anymore you will probably still find them on my hair. The pearl one is always on my purse if for some reason I'm not feeling my best or if I feel like I need to look more put together this is the safety net I needed.

Overall I just want to say that I truly love this trend, it's the perfect way for girls who can't do anything with their hairs to spice up their looks. For the first time in my 22 years of existence, I love my hair, I want to try different thing and play with it. So guess my goal with this post is to inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and to try different things with your appearance because nine times out of ten you will feel more empowered about yourself and at the end of the day that if it makes you feel good, it will be worth the shot.

5 Products I Can't Live Without

I've been sharing little collections of 5 products here on the blog during the whole of 2019. It is something that I've really been loving to do, it makes me think more before mentioning a product here. It makes me more aware of what I am consuming, it's the basic rule of quality over quantity (also the reason why beauty posts have been less and less frequent). For today's post, I decided to talk about 5 products that I keep on me at all times. I can't live without these products. I've had all of them for years and years and I always go back to them. They are mostly affordable, and they are, in my opinion, the best option in the market.

HangoveRx Hydrating Primmer (Too Faced - 35.50€): This product was first mentioned here in May 2017. 2 years later and countless bottles of this beautiful primmer it's still going strong for me.
I love the effect it gives on my skin, when I apply it I feel like a glowy goddess, when I am without it my makeup doesn't last as long, my skin doesn't look has glowy and it's like my skin is hangovered for it.
It smells of coconuts and it has a light moisturizing texture. It is absorbed by the skin within seconds and it gives my skin looking moisturized, glowy and healthy. I love it underneath makeup but I love it on its own just as much. It's the perfect product to keep people from asking me if I am sick (something that happens all the time when I go makeup free).

Micellar Cleansing Water (Garnier - 4.45€): I've tried all the versions of this product that have been made, as you can see from this October 2016 post.  The original will always be my favourite. This is the only micellar water I trust to remove makeup from my skin on daily basses. It is fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, perfect for any skin type even the most sensible ones. I would 100% recommend this product, especially because it is also super affordable. A great product to always keep on hand. I use it every single day and I have done so for more than 2 years. It's the type of product I keep backups in case it gets discontinued because I literally don't know what I would do without it.

Lip Liner Pencil in Desert Sand (Primark - 1.5€): Another product I've first tried in 2016 was the Primark lip liners. I was never a lip liner girl before them and they converted me. The formula is incredible, they are smooth and very pigmented. I love the shade Desert Sand the most, to the point I have one in my purse, another one with my makeup and 4 unopened as backups just in case the shade gets discontinued. It is the perfect neutral mauve pink tone to use underneath any lipstick shade. It also works amazingly on its own or with a small layer of lipgloss on top.

The Traceless Hair Ring (Invisibboble - 5.50€): I've been using invisibobles in my hair since they started being sold in Portugal, even though they were only mentioned on the blog in December 2016. I never used any other type of hair elastic since. They are perfect, they don't hurt my hair, they don't break (only after months and months of use), they don't give me headaches or anything like it. This is by far the best hair product I own, one I will always recommend this brand when people ask me what hair ties to get, I don't care if you have curly, thick, thin or straight hair. This is by far the best option in the market regarding hair ties.

Elvive Low Shampoo (L'óreal - 5.99€): Finally a product that I am sharing for the first time, but it doesn't stop being a favourite because of that. This product was released in Portugal in 2017 and after many years of watching Victoria from Inthefrow talk about it, I knew I had to get it to know what the hype was about. It is my favourite shampoo formula on the market. It leaves my hair looking shiny and hydrated without using conditioner afterwards, something that never happened to me before. This is one of the best drugstore options when it comes to hair care and one I keep on my bathroom at all times.
